Scalloped Potatoes
Description
This is a basic scalloped potatoes recipe, almost the way I found it. This recipe is Gluten-free.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs potato
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 1/4 cup butter or benacol
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups grated cheese
Method
- Peel and slice potato.
- Melt butter in saucepan, stir in any spices you'd like to add (salt, parsley, black pepper)
- Add milk and cornstarch to saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly, then remove from heat.
- Layer in potatoes and sauce in baking pan.
- Cook in oven 350-375F over an hour.
