This recipe came from my mom. I have substituted rice powder for wheat flour to make it gluten free.
- 4 cups cored, peeled, sliced apples
- 2/3 - 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup rice powder
- 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/3 cup soft butter
- place apples in greased 8" square pan
- blend other ingredients until crumbly then spread over apples
- bake at 375F for 30-35 minutes
- serve hot with fluffy sauce or icecream on top.
